Every good movie has a great ending. I am a fan of movies. Perhaps most of all I am a fan of escaping into a reality other than the one I am used to – for a moment dwelling in a fantastic place full of life, death, love, loss, peace (at a price), and lots and lots… of fighting! That’s right, I love action flicks! Perhaps I like them because the ending is often known long before the movie is over. The main character faces terrible, often unrealistic, challenges that by the end they triumph over even as they are forever changed by their trials. Internship has been a great movie.

Thank you all, my friends, for everything. I will miss you.

I leave you with this slightly altered prayer from the movie the Book of Eli (an action flick):

Dear Lord, Thank you for giving me the strength and the conviction to complete the task you entrusted to me. Thank you for guiding me straight and true through the many obstacles in my path. And for keeping me resolute when all around seemed lost. Thank you for your protection and your many signs along the way. Thank you for any good that I may have done, I'm so sorry about the bad. Thank you for the friends I made. Please watch over them as you watched over me. Thank you for finally allowing me to rest. I'm so very tired, but I go now to my rest at peace. I fought the good fight, I finished the race, ……… I kept the faith.
