On February 1st, Kathy Palmer joined our staff as our Parish Nurse at St. Paul Lutheran Church.  Kathy describes herself as a compassionate and task oriented nurse who has cared for many diverse individuals in multiple community environments.  She has had experience as a Licensed School Nurse substitute in the St. Paul Public Schools and a Registered Nurse in the Stillwater Area Public Schools.  Kathy completed a Masters class in Public Health Nursing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks this past fall, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Augsburg College in Minneapolis.  Her volunteer involvement has been with Loaves and Fishes, Angel Tree Prison Ministry, Karen Community Refugees from Burma, and the Honduras Mission Trip through her home church.  Kathy comes well prepared and with a willing heart for ministry.

Kathy will be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays for office visits and home visits and will also be on call as needed at other times.  Please call the church office if you wish to speak with her or set up a visit.
