The Seniors committee is again sponsoring an outing for senior members 55 and over to Camp Wapogasset for their Christmas Dinner Theater. This year’s production will be “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”. Sign-up sheets will be in the Gathering Area at church. We have reserved 32 tickets for Thursday, December 6th, for the 6 p.m. performance.  The cost per person is $20 (tickets are $40 per person, and the seniors committee is paying half) and includes a wonderful 4-course meal, the play and bus transportation. (If not all tickets are signed up for by December 3rd, non-member friends can be added, and they will need to pay the full ticket price.) The bus will leave the church at 4 p.m. on December 6th.  Please indicate on the sign-up sheet if you will be riding the bus or driving yourself. Payments are to be made at the church office at the time you sign up. Checks are to be made out to St. Paul Lutheran Church.

You are important at St. Paul Lutheran Church!  St. Paul Lutheran’s mission is to “Grow in God’s Word and Share God’s love.” We gather every Sunday to hear God’s word, receive God’s grace in communion and share in social connections.

We realize that some people may have transportation challenges that prevent them from participating at a level they would like at church. We don’t want this to interfere with anyone’s participation, so we invite you to utilize a taxi service to get to church at no cost to you. We have a contract with two local taxi service providers that will bill the church directly. Please call one of the providers listed below a day in advance to schedule your trip.

Stillwater Taxi at 651-439-9999
Hill Valley Taxi at 651-373-9941

If you have mobility issues that require a lift, please contact Metro Mobility at 651-602-1111 with your questions and schedule rides.  Please note there are time restrictions on availability and a $3 cost each direction between church and home using this service. This cost is not covered by the church.

The church is equipped with an elevator, access ramps and has modified seating options available. Please come join us in worship and service to our Lord.

“”Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.” Psalms 100:2

The Seniors committee is looking for some additional people to join the committee.  If you are 55 and over, we would love to have you join the committee.  The committee meets eight times a year – they do not meet in January, June, July or August.  They meet on the first Wednesday of the months that they do meet at 9 a.m. at the church.  They plan events for the seniors, host the coffee fellowship between services in February, and host two “Senior and Friends Days” each year – one in May and one in October.  They are also looking for someone that would be interested in being the secretary for the committee for the next year.  The next meeting is on Wednesday, March 1st, at 9 a.m. If you are interested, or have questions, talk with Sue Thomsen-Moon or just come to the next meeting.
