CHURCH PICNIC AND OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE AT VALLEY VIEW PARK ON AUGUST 1 AT 9:30 a.m.

Come join us on Sunday, August 1^st, for the Annual St. Paul Lutheran Picnic and Outdoor Worship at Valley View Park. We will begin with worship at 9:30 a.m. (as last year) the worship setting will provide places for your lawn chairs and blankets. Anyone will be able to find a place to sit that is easily accessible, regardless of ability. Some folding chairs will be provided, but you can bring your own lawn chair or blanket. 

Music will be led by an electric piano and guitars, with an adequate sound system that will make it easy to hear the spoken word. Children from the Vacation Bible School program will be asked to sing special music and there will be a Children’s Message.

Following the worship service, a pot-luck picnic and fun games will provide for a great time of fellowship. Bring a dish to share for the picnic, but know that Hot dogs, hamburgers, coffee, Kool-aid, paper plates, napkins and utensils will be provided.  After lunch there will be fun and games including Bingo, tug of war, cake walk, sack races and horse shoes. Feel free to bring along any outdoor games that you would like to play.

 ST. PAUL LUTHERAN WALKING GROUP

Join us!  The walking group has been burning up the turf and we would love to have you too!  Some of us walk fast, some at a slower pace, and some in between.  We have walked just at least halfway to Chicago all combined so far. Walking is good for the body and good for the mind.  We have been walking outside as weather permits.  During the winter months and on days not suited for walking outside, we walk at the Stillwater Recreation Dome.

The walking group will meet on Tuesday, July 20^th, at 9:30 a.m. at the church.  We will than take a break in August and meet again in the Dome in September.  Keep on moving!
