Lutheran Night at the Twins Game   

Come join us for a fun evening at the Twins game August 8th. They will be playing the Milwaukee Brewers. Game starts at 7:10 p.m. We have reserved 50 tickets in the Skyline Deck - one all the tickets are spoken for, we cannot get more. The cost is $28 per ticket payable when you sign up. We will have a bus available to transport you to and from the game. The bus will leave the church parking lot at 5 p.m. The sign-up sheet is available in the Gathering Area and the deadline to sign up is July 9th

Summer Yarnsters at Pioneer Park

Attention all who enjoy knitting and crocheting.  

Come spend an evening at Pioneer Park with your project, personal or charity type, while you socialize with others in the community. Originating from an idea of the Yarnsters at St. Paul Lutheran this is open to anyone in the community for an opportunity to meet other creative individuals.  Bring your lawn chair, a cool drink and your project.  Weather permitting; we will meet every Tuesday during the summer at 6:30 p.m. at the park.  If it rains, it will be cancelled for that evening.  Come when you want, leave when you have to.  Bring a friend. Here We Walk: A Journey with Martin Luther

In honor of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, transport yourself on a virtual journey to Germany and learn about the significant places in the life of Martin Luther.

Make a donation and pick up a map to begin your journey. Donation box and maps located in the office.  Starting whenever you want to start, fill in one square on the map for every 15 minutes of physical activity. For example: walking, yoga, swimming, aerobics, biking  -  anything that gets you moving COUNTS!  If you exercise 30 minutes every day, you will complete the journey in 6 weeks. You may begin a new map for another donation and prize entry if you wish.

Donation of $10/ person. Or $25/ family. Turn in completed maps by Sept. 24 to be entered in GRAND PRIZE drawing of the *pot* on October 1.  You may keep the prize or donate it in your name to a church project, mission or fund of your choice.

http://www.captioneditor.newsletternewsletter.com/CaptionEditor/ProcessedImages/walk_70081_web.jpg?guid=81c2ee63-09f8-4596-9d99-457239473f60Come join us at the Stillwater Recreation Dome on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 – 10 a.m. for fellowship and exercise!  There is no sign-up, just come to the Dome.  If the weather is nice, the group will chose to walk outside around the neighborhood near the Dome.  If the weather is too hot, rainy, cold, or snowing, etc, they will walk inside the Dome.  You can walk at your own pace.  There is a small fee to walk inside the Dome and you can either pay 25¢ per time for seniors or $1 for non-seniors, or you can purchase a punch card with 20 punches for $5 for seniors or 20 punches for $20 for non-seniors.  After walking, if you wish, you can join the group at Cub Foods for coffee and treats and more fellowship time.  If you would like to go but need a ride, call the church office and we may be able to arrange for one of the other walkers to pick you up.


July 16:  We will have an outdoor worship service in our parking lot on 4th Street at 9 a.m.  The worship service will be followed by a potluck picnic - also in our parking lot.  In the event of rain, things will be moved inside.  All are welcome!

July 20:  From 4 - 9 p.m.  our congregation will have volunteers hosting games, food and other activities at the Historic Courthouse event for Lumberjack Days.  We invite you to come and enjoy the fun, food, and entertainment.

August 7 - 11:  Vacation Bible School at St. Paul Lutheran.  This is open to all children from 3 years old through those that have just finished 6th grade.  There will be a family meal from 5:30 - 6 p.m.  Vacation Bible School activities will be from 6 - 8 p.m.  All are welcome!  There is no charge.

August 13:  We will have another outdoor worship service at 9 a.m. on this Sunday in our parking lot off 4th Street.    In the afternoon, we will be hosting our annual Ice Cream Social from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. with plenty of "Nelson's Ice Cream" and a live band, "The Cruisers" playing great music from the 50's on up.  All are welcome to both the outdoor worship and/or the Ice Cream Social.  There is no charge for the Ice Cream Social.

September 24:  Our first-of-the-season Bonfire from 5 - 8 p.m. in our church yard off the 4th Street parking lot.  There will be a potluck supper and a "Blessing of the Animals" service.  All are welcome!  Bring your pets!

October 8:  Family Pizza and Movie Night.  Come join us for pizza and a movie.  There is no charge for this event and all are welcome.  There will be a sign-up sheet out as the event gets closer so we know how many to prepare for.  The move of the night is yet to be determined.

October 24:  "Beers and Hymns" from 5 - 10 p.m. at Lift Bridge Brewery.  A great time of fun and music for all!  This event is also a fundraiser for a local organizations (food shelf, Young Life, etc.).  Lift Bridge will donate $1 for each beer sold and $2 per growler purchased and there is also a free-will donation bucket.  Root Beer is also available.  All are welcome!

November 22:  Join us at 7 p.m. for our Thanksgiving Eve worship service and then come to the Fellowship Hall after worship for our Pie Fellowship time.  Lots of pie and a great variety of flavors!

December 2:  Come to the Fellowship Hall from 9 - Noon for another Cribbage Tournament! 

December 5:  "Carols and Ales" at the Lift Bridge Brewery from 5 - 10 p.m.  Come sing Christmas Carols and enjoy the fellowship.  See above for more details - it will also be a fundraiser for another organization.
