Sunday School Lent Opportunities

Sunday School students and families you are encouraged to do an act of service each week during Lent.  Please refer to the Lent Calendar your child received at Sunday School. If you did not receive a calendar, please contact Jenifer.  Listed below are activities the Sunday School will participate in during Lent.

Week of Mar. 7 - Pray - Say a prayer at mealtime together - even if you go out to eat. Pray for someone in need.

Week of Mar. 14 - Bring extra coins in the coin box given at Sunday School or any container from home for the student we sponsor from Tanzania.

Week of Mar. 21 - Serve one of your neighbors - give them an unexpected gift like a card, flowers, or cookies.

Week of Mar. 28 - Students will participate in Lent and Easter Stations* at Sunday School. Plus families are encouraged to participate in the Palm Procession at worship.

Easter Sunday - Apr. 4 - No Sunday School - Please attend worship with your family.
*If any parents or grandparents are able to help on Sunday Mar. 28 with a baking activity, craft or game please contact Jenifer Johnson at 651-439-5970, ext. 18 or jjohnson@stpaullc.org.

SPLC Children & Youth are headed to Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp in Amery, WI!

Parents: Come pick up your camp registration packet in the church office!  Please make all deposits/payments out to “SPLC” or “St. Paul Lutheran Church” and return registration forms with payment/deposit by March 15 to the church office!  Thank you!

Camp scholarships are available to anyone who needs one, for any amount, at any time!  Contact Anne Jackson, Director of Faith Formation, for more information.  We want to help every child who wants to go to camp have this opportunity!  TRULY! Anne will be at Camp Wapo from August 6-13 to help lead TIM Team and support the children & youth at camp! For questions contact Anne at ajackson@stpaullc.org

·        T.I.M Team (Grades 9-12): August 6 – 13.  Cost: $380, $100 due with registration.

·        SEEDS (children who have completed 2^nd or 3^rd grade): August 6-8. Cost: $115 due with registration.

·        Youth Campers (children who have completed 4^th-8^th grade): August 8-13.  Cost: $365, $100 due with registration.

·        Journey of the Cross (for youth who have completed at least 7^th grade): August 8-13.  Cost: $365, $100 due with registration.
