Intern Pastor Nathaneil Christman
Hello! I was born in the small town of Colville WA (the north eastern corner of beautiful WA State). My Mother (Rose) was born and raised in British Columbia Canada the middle child of Italian immigrants. She married my father (Neil) who was born and raised in Colville and whose ancestors have lived in the US for long enough to have forgotten from what country they came from. I grew up on 80 acres of mountainous forest land – a true paradise for a young boy whose mind was filled with fantastic dreams.
I earned my undergraduate degree at Trinity Lutheran College – which was in Issaquah WA but is now located in Everett WA. At Trinity I married my wonderful wife Tricia. This last August (2009) God blessed us with a son – we named him Zachary.
Also at Trinity, I realized that God had given me a set of gifts and passions that seem to lead me in the direction of Parish ministry. As such (and having grew up in the Lutheran Church), my wife and I moved out to MN in 2007 to begin study at Luther Seminary. Currently, both my wife and I are students at Luther.
When I’m not being a father, husband, student, or at work - I fish. I enjoy spending time out in nature on my small aluminum row boat, a line in the water and my mind in the sky.
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face towards you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
